This beautiful stein has a pewter lid that has an embossed pewter medallion showing a hunting scene with the phrase "To Catch a Stag, I Can Not Tarry" written in German. The hand-painted relief has been replicated from the original antique stein first sculpted in 1820. It shows a hunter mounted atop his mighty steed giving chase to a stag with the help of his hunting dogs.
