The hand-painted relief shows three different scenes of the Old Testament; a tribute to Melchisedech, the King of Jerusalem. The top scene shows Abraham being stopped by God's Angel from sacrificing his son Isaak. The middle scene shows Melchisedech handing bread and water to Abraham. In the bottom scene Melchisedech blesses Abraham. This stein is the ninth in the Limitaeten series which is based on the original modeled by famous designer Peter Duemler around 1880 in Germany.
